CORSAIR CARBIDE 400R

T
he carbide 400R mid-tower case exterior and interior with power coating on both sides. The finish has a matte feel and it does an effective job of keeping fingerprints at bay. The insides are smooth and no sharp edges are present. So you can afford to be a little careless whilst plugging in components. The 400R looks like a cabinet you’d like to own but it’s the inside that actually matter. It comes with six hard drive and four optical drive slots and all of this is brilliantly crafted. Hard drives are easy to install as they have a sideways orientation and the optical drive bays have a push in mechanism that auto locks them into the casing. A fan pulls air from over the hard drives and has extra filters to prevent dust from entering. Fan LEDs can be turned off via a button. Two fans are available at the front two more can be added on the top and another from the side with additional slots on the bottom if required. A radiator can also be attached at the top. The front consist of two USB 3.0 slots that come with a head adaptor so you can plug if into your motherboard that supports USB 3.0 corsair has included a USB 3.0 to 2.0 adaptor so in case there’s no support for USB 3.0 the carbide 400R is a little on the expensive side but it’s still good value for money.
