This beefy tower type entry level CPU cooler employs six heat pipes that
travel through the copper base and transfer heat to the stack of aluminium fins
a feature we’ve come across in the past. What we’re seeing for the first time
in an air-cooled CPU cooler is the use of vapor chambers. There are two of them
in the form of three fourth inch hollow metal ribbons containing liquid
coolant. The bases of the chambers are in direct contact with the heat pipes. A
120 mm fan isattached to one side of the cooler and you have the option to go
in for a second fan for a push pull setup. The kit includes mounting hardware
for all Intel sockets LGA 775 onwards up to the latest LGA 2011 used by the
Sandy Bridge E processors. Also supported are AMD socket AM2, AM3+ and FM1.
