The Phantom 410 is more compact and less expensive than the original NZXT
but doesn’t ditch any important features. The mid tower cabinet is a lot taller
and deeper than most common tower PCs. Our review unit came in all black. The
paintwork is as glossy even the insides are painted. There is a small
transparent window on the side panel. The top surface has a fan grille as the
power and reset buttons. USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports audio jacks and single three
position fan speed controller. Two thumbscrews secure each of the side panels
in place. Inside you will find enough room for a full sized ATX motherboard and
one or two hogh end graphics cards. The power supply mounts at the bottom and
there’s space for six 2.5 inch drives as well as three 3.5 inch ones. The middle
part of the drive cage is removable freeing up more space for graphics cards
and cable routing. You get 120 mm fans on the front rear and top with
provisions for mounting more fans and water cooling. The leads to the top panel
are neatly routed and labeled free. The phantom 410 is an attractive and
feature rich case but it’s still overkill for non gamers or ordinary home
users.
