Mac Book Pro

Geeks, environmental activists and consumer watchdogs have taken to the Went to
vent their frustrations at the new matchbook Pro. Which has been dubbed the “least
upgradable computer ever” continuing in apple’s tradition of eliminating user serviceable
parts in order to craft thinner and better tooling devices, the new Mac Book Pro’s retina
display fused directly to the lid, red airing an expensive and possibly wasteful procedure
should a replacement ever be necessary . In addition, the RAM and SSD are soldered
directly onto the unit’s motherboard, reducing their footprint but involving a massive
expense for upgrades, not to mention a need to take the device to a service center.
The battery is, of course, sealed right into the chassis as well. Unfortunately users
who must choose between the thin- and light Mac Book pro with its retina display, and
the previous generation design will almost certainly pick the new one, unmindful of its
limitations.
