Nokia cancels Mealtime project

Nokia’slatest round of layoffs and project cancellations has apparently clamed a major
victim; the company’s mealtime efforts to replace the ageing series 30 and 40 operating
system on its budget and midrange headsets without confirming that such a project
and ever existed, CEO Stephen Elope confirmed to analysts and reporters that several
engineering projects have been shelved. Nokia will now focus on improving series 40
which power the Ash range of on iknkedin, with the name Mealtime Product Eloper Posts
on the group appeared to indicate that the project was very6 nearly complete. Nokia has
lay off thousands of workers and closed several facilities in the past few months, and
sales of Lamia phones in the next quarter will also be beak thanks to their just announced
incompatibility with Windows Phone 8.
