Iran nuke facility hit by “thunder”


F-secure has published details of emails that appear to have come from Atomic Energy
Organization of Iran, reporting a new virus infection that has shut down automated systems
at two nuclear facilities. Like the Stuxnet attack, this new malware targets Siemens hardware,

but this time infected systems apparently play AC/DC’S “Thunderstruck” at full volume. The
anonymous tipster suggests that it was introduced via a VPN.
